"The paper is aimed at determination of the electric stress of insulation of a three-phase cable and check of its dielectric strength. The task is formulated as a combined electro-thermal problem. The steady state temperature field is calculated from the Joule losses produced by the currents passing through the conductors and other metal parts of the cable.
