"In the paper are described various application of laser scan confocal microscope Olympus LEXT OLS 3000. The advantages of confocal microscope were take use of characterization of microstructure of very fine multiphase steels with high strength. There were made the minisamples for impact bending test. The form and size of it was monitoring by 3D-model of surface which was obtained by LEXT. Thanks to 3D-picture of real relief of surface was possibly to monitoring of fracture area on the samples after the destruction. Software of confocal microscope enabled determination of the roughness of surface. This possibility was used on comparison measuring of roughness of plates with various surfaces adaptation."@en .
