"The aim of this study was to evaluate the allele and genotype frequencies of the important production genes (\u00DF-casein; \u00DF-lactoglobulin; Calpain; GH; GHR; Leptin and Pit-1) in 171 Czech Fleckvieh bulls, slaughtered between the years 2007\u20132009. DNA was isolated from meat samples using the NucleoSpin Tissue kit (Macherey-Nagel), according to the manufacturer\u2019s protocol. All loci were genotypized by the PCR/RFLP method. The PowerMarker programme was used for statistical evaluation of genotype frequencies.
