Interdisciplinarity is not a new phenomenon, but it has been gaining significance nowadays. It contributes to better understanding of complex relations in the contemporary world involving sociology, history, cultural studies, communication, IT, and securitology. This approach is expected to help to develop access to plurality related to such major issues as globalization and attempt to build mutual understanding across disciplinary and sub-disciplinary boundaries. The methodology used in the course is student-centered, which implies the use of brainstorming, discussion, concluding and information sharing among the learnes and the teacher.
