"Slovakia belongs to the countries with the richest fresh ground water supplies in Europe. There are 1200 mineral and thermal springs in 600 localities. One of the significant issues is their economy-ecology management in the frame of valid legislation and at the same tiem their effective use for healthy, recreational and regeneration purposes. The study presents the analyses of tohose natural sources. The research was conducted using the model aquapark in Poprad and Podhajska , as well as Brusno spa. We recommend to improve marketing for the selected target groups of domestic and foreing clientsrespecting the reality of The Slovak travel trade. The final part presents main conditions for the development od aquapark and spa industry and potential implications for enviromment and socio-economic spatial structures."@en . .
