"A new technological process consists in the application of thermally sprayed coating using a high velocity technology to the surface of drains and endoscope extenders. The main purpose of the new method is to increase reliability and efficiency of steam turbines. In this case, the coating on the base of nickel alloy was sprayed. This material ensures the corrosive resistance in a steam environment at increase temperatures up 570\u00B0C and pressure 23.4 MPa, the resistance against several types of wear and vibrations. The application of thermally sprayed coatings on this parts\u00B4 type of steam turbines is an innovation method of surface treatment developed as an alternative to conventional nitriding."@en . .
