. "Spring barley materials with increased feeding quality tested in %22in vivo%22 experiments were developed. Feeding tests demonstrated that the new line of spring barley with hulless grain, KM1910, had high nutritive quality of N-substances measured by PER index (2.13 g/g consumed protein), significantly different from all tested materials. High yielding line of spring barley KM1667 significantly exceeded the other tested hulled spring and winter barleys in a level of PER index (1.73 g/g consumed protein). In comparison with the control malting variety Nordus, the assessed values in KM1910 and KM1667 were higher by 47.2 and 18.8%, respectively.
