The types of membranes, mostly polymer ones, which are used for gas and vapour separation, are described in Chapter 3. Chapter 4 is devoted to determination of gas and vapour transport parameters through membranes. Industrial membrane separation of gases and vapours is content of Chapter 5, Chapter 6 is devoted to purification and upgrading of biogas. The pervaporation, as very important membrane process for separation of binary liquid, is given in Chapter 7. Chapter 8 deals with membrane distillation as progressive membrane separation process.
