"New device enables the measurement of thermal conductivity of metals and carbon composites with thermal conductivity values over 30 W/m.K, based on the stationary ((steady state) principle. Contrary to common dynamic methods, the new method offers more precise measurement results, and these results are less dependent on the way how the sample is fixed in the device. The design of the new device is simple, thus bringing also certain economical advantage.
