It is influenced mainly by conception of the mould that means solving of product shape, construction of ejection system and the requirements of the cooling.This paper deals with the evaluation of the effectivity of cooling system equipped with unconventional cooling device, Ranque-Hilsch vortex tube which use for cooling of injection mould common compressed air. The evaluation is proceeding with respect to distribution fields of temperature in tool and on the product surface. It was done the comparison with common, conventional cooling mechanism with circulating water in cooling channel.
