"Two topics concernig mechanical properties research of FeAl alloys are presented: 1. The properties of Fe-40%Al alloy (binary and ternary alloyed) within B2 region of phase diagram Fe-Al were observed using the effects of termal vacancies utilization. The hardness was measured in temperature interval from 440\u00B0C to 800\u00B0C and the subboundaries inside B2 area were identified with the help of measurement of mechanical properties. The TEM was used to understand hardening process. 2. The effect of carbon content was related to revival Pyroferal type alloy, which is compared to the Fe-40%AlxC alloy. The structure and high-temperature mechanical properties of this type of iron aluminide are the matter of the research. The influence of carbon content on the phase structure was investigated using light optical microscopy, RTG diffraction analysis and TEM.
