We are showing in this work that fish oil can be easily converted to polyol having high potential to be economically utilized for production of polyurethane materials. Applying simple chemical modification technologies we prepared set of fish polyols and reacted them with oligomeric MDI to produce model polyurethane plaques. Then we studied effect of different molecular structure and hydroxyl group functionality characterizing individual fish polyols on physical-mechanical properties of polyurethane networks. Results of our exploratory work will be discussed."@en . "[F5A82BA6235A]" . "fish oil, polyol, polyurethane, MDI"@en . . .
