"The contribution presents the approaches to the terminological definition of values and points out the deciding role of the family during the process of creation of value orientation of young learners. The personality is being shaped already in this age due to the effects of upbringing and other social conditions. This shaping consists of both the character component (determined mainly by social environment and accepted norms and values) and the temperament component (determined mainly by emotions). The contribution presents selected results of questionnaire survey focused on testing the influence of selected attributes of family environment on values manifestation among learners as per Sekera typology. Tested moral values consisted of e. g. display of fraud tolerance, truthfulness and willingness to help, tested performance-related values consisted of e. g. display of endurance, hobbies and cooperation and finally tested economic values consisted of e. g. display of frugality, economic deficiency or material preferences."@en .
