"The publication entitled %22Teachers' Reflections on the Selected Issues of School Management%22 brings new pieces of knowledge from the area of the regional education management. Within the framework of the original research survey made in 22 districts of the Czech Republic in the years 2011 - 2012, it brings us nearer to the opinions of seven hundred respondents concerning some of the decisions of the managerial centre and the polemic and currently discussed problems of Czech teaching practice. At the same time it outlines where it is possible to look for sources of pedagogic frustration, burning out and resignation. It does so in the form of statistic surveys of teachers' statements based on parametric and non parametric tests accompanied by controversial commentaries on individual themes arranged into twenty chapters. Teachers hold an imaginary mirror up to the monitored managerial decisions, being primarily led by their interests in efficiency and the quality of their own process of educating young people in their schools. The publication also elaborates the themes of continuity and stability, uniformity and diversity, centralisation and decentralisation, pedagogic and economic efficiency, parameters of the so called %22good school%22 and a number of other themes."@en .
