"The thesis focuses on children?s concepts, their diagnostics and possibilities of their dynamic modification within various models of managing pupils\u00B4 learning activities. The theoretical part of the thesis identifies neuro-physiological basics of tuition, explains the mechanisms behind the development of children?s concepts and complete knowledge systems in a child. The empirical part of the thesis specifies and discusses individual methods used in the research of children?s concepts. Each method is demonstrated by specific research data and conclusions derived from them. Attention is paid to the following methods: a phenomenographic interview, didactical test, diagnostics of a child?s drawing, text content analysis, notion mapping, scaling. Children?s concepts and their diagnostics are important factors in tuition modernization in connection with the curriculum reform in place in the Czech Republic.
