"Rapot\u00EDn" . "The aim of this study was the evaluation of the effects of grazing utilization and fertilization of permanent grassland on botanical composition and dry matter yield. The long-term small plot trial was established in 2003 in Rapotin. The trial was managed during 2003-2008 with different levels of grazing (two, three, or four grazing periods per year) and fertilization (no fertilization, NPK). There was found out a rapid increase of total number of plant species (25 species in 2008) in treatment with extensive utilization without fertilization. Total number of species was lower in fertilized treatments grazed twice or three times per year than in treatments without fertilization. It was found out increase of legumes ratio in the sward (20.2 %) with medium intensive intensity of utilization without fertilization. Mineral fertilizers had significant effect on increase of the dry matter yield. The highest dry matter yield was achieved with extensive utilization of the pasture sward."@en . . .
