MFP serve as an indicator of water addition into milk during milking and storage. MFP can be influenced by the milk composition, milk yield, nutrition and by the health state as well. It is essential to have a right estimated legislative discrimination limit value of MFP. The legislative limit for MFP in CR is -0.520 \u00B0C, which is inadequate. This paper is focused on certain relationships between MFP and selected milk paremeters, such as daily milk yield, crude protein, true protein, urea, acetone and somatic cell count in order to demonstrate the influences on MFP and also the reasons for limit correction. In the experiment with methodically changed milk fat content its values were varied in the range from 1.68 % to 6.48 %. Neither such big changes in fat content had not significant effect on MFP.
