"Raw tank bulk milk samples were collected from selected dairy herds from April to September 2009; all were analyzed by BactoScan and Standard plate count method. In some of them detection and identification of pathogens were monitored especially S. aureus, S. PK-, B. cereus, E. coli, fungi, Str. agalactiae, Str. uberis, Enterococcus spp. and spore-forming organisms. The highest detection was recorded in S. PK (71, 1 %). Coliform bacteria were occurred in 60 of 90 samples. It was also a high incidence of yeast (in 51 samples) and an occurrence of molds in 41 samples. Str. agalactiae, which deteriorates microbial quality of milk, was detected in 7 samples only in small density. Bacteriological and strain typing data indicate that control of all organisms present in raw milk would be important for improvement of microbial quality of milk."@en .
