"21 series of glass from 16 plots in the historical centre of Bratislava have been processed for this article, and 25 analyses of glass were conducted. The assessed material covered several periods: the 13th century, the late 13th century and the 14th century, and the mid-15th century. In the 13th century, %22brown%22 glass with a high content of manganese was imported to the city, possibly from North Italy (Tuscany?). Between the late 13th century and in the 14th century this kind of glass was replaced with vessels of colourless glass of Venetian provenance that included four enameled beakers. Hollow glass made another appearance in Bratislava around the mid-15th century, this time it was potassium-ash glass from Bohemian glassworks, and probably also from Hungary."@en . .
