"The paper is devoted to comparison o solidus and liquidus temperatures determined by thermo analytical methods for two real steel grades (S34MnV, 20MnMoNi5-5) produced in V\u00CDTKOVICE HEAVY MACHINERY, a.s. Two equipments were used. On STA 449 F3 JUPITER, the method of direct thermal analysis on large samples (23 g) was applied. On Setaram Multi High Temeprature Calorimeter, 3D DSC special senzor was used (2,6 g sample mass). The thermal analytical results were also compared with tabulated, empirically and other computed liquidus and solidus temperatures values. Obtained results shown the complexity of correct determination of solidus and liquidus temperatures for real steel grades."@en . . . . . .
