"This paper deals with steels having austenitic \u2013 feritic structure, where the value of pitting corrosion resistance (PREN) is higher than 40 and ranks these steel among super duplex stainless steels. Ingot V2A weighing 1700 kg of steel grade UNS S32760 was cast in the pilot plant according to the proposed technology. Ingot was subsequently forged into two diameter (200 and 300 mm) followed by heat treatment. Evaluation of forgings has been begun.
