"This paper deals with secondary hardening of welded joints of steel T24 during long term exposure in operating temperature range. Observed hardening is related to secondary precipitation of dispersion particles. Steel T24 is already used for membrane water walls of ultra super critical boilers. There is an effort to leave out post weld heat treatment in the production of MMW. Presented experimental results shows, that extend of secondary hardening depends on application of PWHT.
