In case the nickel content more than 12% the properties significantly change. The samples of ZnNi coating had been exposed to variously thermal stress before accelerated corrosion test in salt spray test. The corrosion resistance of ZnNi coating with subsequently chromate passivation by trivalent chromium is significantly affected by thermal treatment.
