But most of them are oriented primarily to big companies. The authors of this paper focused on internal information flows in small and medium-sized enterprises. This article will introduce the results of primary research in small and medium enterprises in Czech Republic. This article describes the modern trends (business process reengineering, a heuristic scheduling algorithm production, Kaizen philosophy) optimization of internal processes for small and medium enterprises. In addition, the article provides some ideas for a new application of existing methods (Advanced Planning and Scheduling, Build to Order Supply Chain) with regard to the characteristics of the operation of small and medium-sized enterprises.
