Compared to polymers, small molecules show many advantages as higher possibility of supramolecular organization, higher purity and easier production. Diketopyrrolopyrrole based small molecules are high performance materials, originally used in dye industry, recently successfully used in organic electronics and photovoltaics as well. Up to now our group synthesised various diketopyrrolopyrrole derivatives and studied them with respect to their structure-property relationship. As a result of previous study and theoretical calculations, we have synthesised group of four new highly soluble, diphenylaminostilbene diketopyrrolopyrrole derivatives and characterised their properties with various optical and electrical methods. All four studied materials showed promising properties with respect to photovoltaics as strong absorption, fluorescence quenching with acceptor, photoconductivity and photo"@en .
