The experimental values of oscillator strengths of individual electron transitions were calculated from the transmission spectra. The Judd-Ofelt parameters ( 2, 4, 6) of Pr3+ ions in studied glasses were determined from the values of oscillator strengths. Absolute minimization as well as relative minimization fitting procedures using five or six transitions were applied for the determination of Judd-Ofelt parameters. Obtained values of Judd-Ofelt parameters are discussed in relation with different concentration of Pr3+ ions in studied glasses and with the type of calculation.
