"This thesis deals with continuous monitoring of pulmonary ventilation during the patients' therapy and focuses especially on monitoring of their ventilation processes. It is necessary to detect, monitor and differentiate abdominal and thoracic breathing during the therapy. The thesis focuses on two methods developed at the BUT. One method is based on a non-contactless measurement method using the TOF camera. The method gives accurate shift changes the distance from the chest or abdomen sensor in cm. The measurement is absolute and is suitable for monitoring long-term changes in rehabilitation patients. The second method uses measurements using pressure sensors. This measurement is relative and will be used mainly for practicing correct breathing and the momentary monitoring during the therapy. At the start of the measurement were the categories in which measurements will be: sex, athletes, smokers and patients, playing musical wind instruments.
