The verification was done by experimental measuring which was realized in distribution network held by E.ON Czech Republic. There were made a few different fault (low-impedance, spark gap arc, damaged MV cable, 1.6kOhm, 0.4kOhm and unearthed console of concrete tower) for three different places, for tuned and untuned Petersen coil and for some types of faults for all phases too, that means forty eight experimental faults. During each experiment the shunting of affected phase was applied. The first results of fault currents and voltages analysis show that after closing the shunting circuit breaker the fault current decreases practically to zero that means the method of connecting of affected phase to the earthing system of substation seems be very perspective for protection the point of fault." .
