"Purpose of this paper is to discuss the possibilities of using luminance analysis for purposes of measuring the energy performance of lighting systems especially in the context of assessing the efficacy of installed light sources, respectively efficiency of installed lighting fixtures without disassembly. In assessing the energy performance will normally be considered the value of the installed power for lighting systems in the building as per unit area. In order to assess the effectiveness of existing fixtures, we have dismantled a laboratory to verify their effectiveness, which is obviously tedious and practically impossible. However, it would be such an analysis of luminaire or light source luminance, calculate the approximate luminous flux of light and thus make the basic idea of efficiency, respectively luminous efficacy.
