Designed hybrid solar Photovoltaic/Thermal (PV/T) system is able to produce electricity and heat simultaneously in single device. For this purpose a various PV/T collectors have been developed and tested in DEPE Solar laboratory. The research and design has been primary focused on operational temperature reduction and also on optimization of heat transfer from collector to coolant. Two main types of FV/T collectors have been studied. The first ones have been based on common of the shelf photovoltaic generators with necessary technical modifications for temperature reduction and heat extraction.
