"The aim of the present study was based on documents supplied to create a numerical model of combustion equipment GEMOS, consisting of automatic boiler with inclined grate for biomass combustion and post-combustion chamber downstream. With the established numerical model were subsequently implemented computation of velocity, pressure and temperature fields in the area of the boiler at different operating conditions. Based on the interim results was proposed several modifications geometry boilers, which have been tested a number of parametric studies. Gradual steps towards solutions were conducted to optimize the combustion process and boiler operation.
