"Shock absorber operational parameters can be accurately examined when it is dismantled from vehicle. The Ginova 1.4 test rig is the typical representative of such equipment category. Examined Shock absorber is loaded at different experimental conditions with rebound and compression cycles. Sufficient height of the test rig allows mounting of samples up to 1400 mm lenght, i. e. it is capable of evaluation of the motorcycle front shock absorber etc. Dampening force is evaluated from reaction force of shock-absorber which is measured by the force gauge. Working height of force gauge is adjustable with 12,5 mm step. The source of loading force is the hydraulic linear actuator Inova with a stroke of 150mm and a maximum force of 40kN. Data acquisition and data evaluation of all measured signals are performed by measuring system Inova.
