"The main objective of this report is research in the area of biogas production in cofermentation of kitchen waste from college canteen. Two types of laboratory fermenters were used for measuring of the biogas production (two stainless steel fermenters with a capacity of 30 litres and one plastic fermenter with a capacity of 1 200 litres). Fermenters were heated with water to ensure the temperature of the batch from 43 to 45 C. Each of these fermenters is equipped with its own mixing unit, which periodically provides batch mixing. Fermenters were filled semicontinuously. The effects of the temperature, the retention time, the degree of decomposition of the organic fraction of the substrate, the proportion of organic components in the input and output substrate on the biogas production and methane content were studied.
