"In applications of mathematics in practice we are very often encounter with requirement of the function approximation from measured values, eventually with problem of the statistical characteristics calculation of the measures of central tendency. For solution these problems we employs most frequently the method of least squares, eventually statistics average or median type. Objective hereof contribution is shown some nonstandard metrics available for these problems. These metrics can be created by means of so - called generating function, and they may at creation of the model suggest his robustness appearance toward outliers."@en .
