"The paper is focused on a biogas production in kitchen waste digestion process. Kitchen waste from the dining facilities of Brno University of Technology was used as a substrate. Two types of laboratory fermentors were used for experiment. Two smaller fermentors are stainless steel, twin-tube stirred reactors of 30 liters. The bigger one is a plastic stirred reactor with internal heating coil. Its total volume is 1 200 liters. Digesters were operated at mesophilic temperature of 43 - 45 degrees C. Feeding took place semi continual. Biogas production, its quality and degradation of organics was measured regularly."@en .
