"The article deals with measuring, analyzing and results of experiments oriented to establish of a distribution of elements among liquid slags and liquid steels. Three kinds of steels with different content of sulfur (0,032, 0,161, 0,284 wt.% S) and also three kinds of slags were used - a) the slag from smelting of low carbon steel in electric arc furnace before deoxidation; - b) the slag from ladle furnace on the end of process; - c) the slag from the vacuum smelting on the end of process. These slags were taken from one cycle of smelting of low carbon steel. The slags were grinding up to the powder and each of them was used to the repeated melting of each of steel with different sulfur. To the disposition were nine variants of the interactions betweensteel and slag (steel/slag). By means of X - ray micro-analyzer were established the distribution of elements (sulfur, manganese and others) among steels and slags and by means of quantitative metallographic analyses were established the micro-cleanness"@en .
