"The application is designated to evaluation of surface topography measurements based on White light interferometry technique, in which the sample surface is scanned in vertical direction with 70-140 nm steps to obtain a series of interferograms generally from 64 to 512 frames. The set of frames creates a signal for every point in the image which consists of two components. The first is carrying wave with the frequency given by mean wavelength of the light source. The second one is modulating wave with the frequency given by spectral width of the light source.
