"The paper accumulates and partially comments the results of first experiments where acoustic emission method has been applied to evaluation of response of transpiratory flow responses in various woody species. The experiments were implemented at the research base of Mendel agricultural and forestry university in Brno on pines and red ashes. Another part of the experiment took part at poplar tree plantations. All the measurements indicate certain periodical change in AE signal intensity, which probably relates to changes of transpiratory stream, eventually further processes, which take part in woody species in different times of day."@en . .
