The lens barrel is equipped with highly precise focussing system which enables both visual and photographic usage of the equipment. The design is optimized in order to minimize the diffuse light. This is highly important because of extreme contrast between the inner and outer corona (about 1:100000). The diffuse light is minimized by means of a carefully designed system of diaphragms.
