Fly ashes found utilization in production of cement, concrete, mortar, autoclaved aerated concrete, ceramics, etc. Mainly due to the conservatism of building materials manufacturers and customers are ashes still more than 80% utilized for reclamation of industrial areas and open cast mines. Production of artificial aggregate by sintering of fly ashes utilize at least 90% of fly ash in the mixture and it is together with aerated concrete one of the ways to use a maximum of the potential of this material. The paper is devoted to studying the influence of the basic parameters of fly ashes produced in the Czech Republic on the behavior during the heating process. As a relevant has been identified chemical composition, which indicates the ratio of the oxides of silicon, iron and aluminum, and thus affects the melting point of the complex.
