"The paper deals with a simulation of rheological behaviour of a prestressed railway sleeper as a continuation of a similarly focused experimental program. First, testing was performed using selected sleeper (effects of shrinkage and creep of concrete along with relaxation of prestressing reinforcement). Second, additional specimens made of the same concrete as sleepers were tested (concrete shrinkage). To simulate the time dependent rheological behaviour models according to Eurocode 2 together with the time discretization numerical method were used.
