The main objective is usually check construction details, analysis of thermal bridges. However, thermography can also be used in determining the heat transfer coefficient of the building envelope. This method of determining the heat transfer coefficient, however, has some limitations and does not always give accurate results. This paper describes a theoretical method to determine the the heat transfer coefficient based on the use of thermography. Based on ongoing investigations will be published later follow-up article in which the validation of the methodology and its applicability for the assessment of practice."@en .
