When using HSWJ technology to disintegrate concrete surfaces it is necessary to set the jet parameters according to the properties of the concrete. The concrete properties have crucial impact on the interaction of HSWJ and concrete. The properties of tested concretes in fresh and hardened state were described. The results of disintegration of concrete using high-speed water jet were determined after measuring the cut depth. The evaluation of properties of concrete surfaces cured with HSWJ technology includes namely surface tensile strength and observation of the influence of the jet on the surroundings of the cut, possible cracks and the overall appearance of the concrete surface including photographs.
