"Societal and legislative pressure to prevention of waste production is currently increasing. The Waste Act amendment introduces a new term %22by-product%22. It avoids a large quantity of residues from coal combustion from the waste law scheme. New situation helps simplify the management of energy by-products and changes the view on this type of secondary raw materials. The research results show that secondary materials are often fully substitute to the primary components and in many cases improve the properties of final building products. Fly ash from energy plants is often an alternative raw material for building substances, and is an object of number of research works. One of the suitable ways to exploit their potential is the artificial aggregate production. The article deals with the laboratory verification suitability of selected secondary raw materials for production of artificial lightweight aggregate."@en . "Černý, Vít" . .
