"This technical sheet describes properties of high performance concretes based on Portland cement with addition of supplementary cementing materials (SCMs) and superplasticizers. As SCM we used fly ash from high temperature combustion that reacts with calcium hydroxide formed by cement hydration and granulated blast furnace slag, which is latent hydraulic binder. Application of these materials in technology of concrete has a positive effect on the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions. Results of compressive strength determination after 60 days of immersion of specimens in corrosive media (solutions of MgCl2, NH4Cl, Na2SO4, HCl, distilled water and gaseous CO2 in high concentration - 65% vol.) showed that corrosion resistance coefficient is in all cases higher than 0.82."@en . . . . .
