"Light artificial aggregate from sintered fly ash was already mass-produced under trade mark Agloporit in plant D\u011Btmarovice near Ostrava with use of licence technology of the USA firm Corson. Artificial aggregate from this plant was with good results used at many construction applications. Production technology of this aggregate is in the world known already several tens of years. Generally was proved, that although majority of produced ashes is suitable for the given purpose, the best results are mostly reached in case of ash from bituminous coal processing. Further was proved that this kind of artificial aggregate is well usable in civil engineering, first for production of light structural concrete. In present time the production and utilisation of sintered aggregate from ash stagnates worldwide; main reason is not mastered technology of production in a view of achieved economy parameters."@en . .
