"This paper is focused on optimized design of a transmission pole from spun concrete. Optimization is based on minimization of amount of reinforcing and prestressing steel lengthwise a pole in accordance with ULS and SLS of the EUROCODE design code (price of the materials is taken into account). The design of a transmission pole is automated by means of computer program. The paper contains the definition of basic algorithms of the proposed solution and outputs from solved examples.
