"Contribution of Determination of Antioxidants in Oils to Minimization of Wastes from Transport"@en . "Tomášková, Markéta" . "6"^^ . . . "The consumption of significant amounts of lubricating oils and lubricant greases in the operation of a wide variety of pieces of machinery equipment can be decreased by applying a broad scale of tribodiagnostic and analytical methods - ranging from the simplest field tests through standardized laboratory tests to demanding instrumental methods. Their systematic application can become an efficient tool for regular monitoring of the degree of degradation of greases, for evaluation of actual operational condition of machinery, as well as for checking of trends in its wear. The present article describes the newest results obtained from the experimental studies undertaken in the above-mentioned area at the Faculty of Chemical Technology together with Jan Perner Transport Faculty of the University of Pardubice. The aim of the conducted research was to reduce the negative impacts from industry, power engineering and transport upon the environment: in particular to reduce the production of wastes, to save both materials and energies, to minimize pollution of soil and water, to increase the operational safety. Also discussed are the problems of optimization of consumption of greases and the therewith connected experimental conditions of voltammetric determination of amine- and phenol-based antioxidants in synthetic oils. The chosen model compounds were phenyl naphthyl amine (PNA) and butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT)." . . "25310" . . "3"^^ . "S" . "antioxidant, linear sweep voltammetry, oil"@en . "Ostrava" .
