"This work deals with the possibility of preparation of high-temperature pigments based on Tin Antimony Gray Cassiterite doped with lanthanides ions (La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu, including Yttrium). The aim of this work was to verify the effect of these admixtures on the colour properties of the final pigment. These pigments were synthesized by calcining the starting raw materials at 1400\u00B0C. Oxides of Tin(IV), Antimony(III) and other lanthanides in a powdered form were used as a starting mixture. Prepared pigments were assessed in terms of a particle size distribution and were examined using X-ray diffraction analysis. All prepared pigments were applied into ceramic glaze.
