The main advantage of microcolumns is in lower consumption of mobile phases, additives and samples, which is important especially for analyses of biological materials, where only small amount of sample is usually available. One of the most important directions is preparation and applications of monolithic columns, which can be easily fabricate in laboratory and have high tolerance to higher flow rates of mobile phases. In following work, possibilities of application of silica gel monolithic columns for separation of androgenic steroids are investigated.
